The Tree Core chest of drawers has clean curving lines inspired by the lines of boats.  In concept, this piece represents a slice from a tree, removed and made into furniture.  This chest of drawers is made from bent laminations of fir and inlayed with bubinga tree rings.

The Bundle cabinet was created during an artist residency at Anderson Art Ranch near Snowmass, Colorado.   This wall-hung cabinet explores how stacked timbers can be expressed as furniture.  The body of the cabinet is made from reclaimed Douglas fir beams with cocobolo accents.  The interior of the cabinet reflects the hollow inside the bundle and features cocobolo drawers.
