The tree core bed is an elegant update on a rustic theme.  The concept involved creating a bed that looked like it had been hollowed out of an enormous log.   The head and footboard are the cross sections of the log. The curving tree rings on the head and footboard are made of thin strips of bubinga inlayed into fir veneer.  In contrast to its rustic counterpart, the fine craftsmanship and design of this bed are timeless.

The Tree Core chest of drawers has clean curving lines inspired by the lines of boats.  In concept, this piece represents a slice from a tree, removed and made into furniture.  This chest of drawers is made from bent laminations of fir and inlayed with bubinga tree rings.
